    Nong Yai Park is 8 km north of Chumphon town. Take Road No. 1107 out of town, and the entrance to the park is on the right, 2 km after the large white government buildings. It is a natural tourist attraction surrounded by beautiful nature and various kinds of animals.

    Prince of Chumphon Shrine is a memorial dedicated to Admiral HRH Prince of Chumphon, the founder of the Royal Thai Navy and one of the most respected figures among Thai people. Near the shrine, visitors can also see the Chumphon Royal Battleship, a large torpedo boat that was decommissioned in 1975.

    Yai I Cave (also known as Tham Yai Ai) is located within the Saena Sana Priest’s Camp Site, approximately 46 kilometers north of Chumphon town. This beautiful natural cave sits near the beach, where sunlight shines through the cliff openings, creating a peaceful and magical atmosphere. Inside the cave, visitors can see a golden Buddha statue and experience the calm beauty of nature and spirituality together.

  • HTMS Prab 741

    The historic warship “HTMS Prab 741,” located in the waters near Ngam Noi Island, has been transformed into an artificial reef and a unique underwater diving attraction. After World War II, the United States gifted this ship to Thailand in 1946. It was later given the royal name “HTMS Prab” and served in the Amphibious Task Force before being decommissioned in 2006. On May 20, 2011, the ship was intentionally sunk off the coast of Chumphon to create a beautiful underwater tourist attraction that is now home to diverse marine life and coral ecosystems.
